Car Review Smart Fortwo Coupe - Smar ForTwo offers something a little different for sure, but the price is little higher than other usual city car.

For those who do not need additional practicality two more seats, low operating cost, fun and refinement of the ForTwo are sure to appeal. The only problem is the older brother, forfour, only cost a few hundred pounds more seem more rational choice. It is this reason smart predicts only 20 percent of sales to become a model two-seater.

That said, we prefer the drive ForTwo. It will be down to your personal situation, whether ForTwo can overcome your lifestyle, but if we think you will be richly rewarded for taking risks.

Surprisingly practical

Given that tiny little thing, there are actually a fair bit of storage space offered. It has a split tailgate to access the boot, and a passenger seat that folds down flat to allow longer items to be stored.

It is 100mm wider than before, too, so there are more interior space to play with. We found two large adults sit perfectly comfortable for a couple of hours during our testing, we found ourselves not want to leave either for shoulder space or headroom.

Two machines, not much power

Engine options are limited to 1-liter, three-cylinder with 69bhp petrol or 0.9-liter petrol (with the help of a turbocharger) makes 89bhp. You're looking at a 0-62mph times for ten seconds without, though.

Fortunately, the fact that the machine live at the rear of the car on the rear axle means that they are not too noisy in the cabin. It feels very smooth car in general, to be honest.

From launch you will get a five-speed manual gearbox, but during 2015 the twin clutch automatic gearbox will join the range as well. This is a big step forward from the Smart auto 'box of old, let's say.

Fun to drive

One look at the performance figures of the machine 'might suggest this is a boring car to drive, but there is an ace in the tiny Smart sleeve: it has a turning circle frankly incredible and brilliant steering.

This means establishing its way through downtown like nothing we've driven before and it will change much sharper than a black London cab. It was thanks to the engine between the front wheels, which means they can be tilted 45 degrees to the direction of maximum change direction agility.

The entire chassis has been completely revised for the new model, which means much more suspension travel and thus comfier ride.
