Flying cars become a reality. Aeromobil say that fly Roadster will be the first flying car to reach the public. Aeromobil will show the car at Pioneer Festival in Vienna.

This flying car still in prototype model,  but this car is already introduced to the public and will in production soon.

Austria-based company plans to introduce Slovakia Aeromobil production-ready "Fly Roadster" at Pioneer Festival in Vienna on October 29, according to Fox News. The Aeromobil change from car to plane with wings stretched corresponding main cockpit beside the car and start propeller in the rear of the car.

"In terms of car configuration, suitable for standard parking space, which allows the engine to the tank every gas station, was fully familiar with the road traffic and as well the plane could take off and land at any airport in the world," reads the company's website.

The Aeromobil has a wingspan of 27 feet when in airplane mode. This vehicle uses Rotax aircraft engine 912. This car has a top speed of 100 MPH on the ground, and can reach 124 M.P.H. in the air. Aeromobil cruising range is 430 miles. The Flying Roadster can accommodate two people and weighing nearly 1000 pounds.

The Aeromobil flying car is the work of Stefan Klein, who began designing a flying car in 1990 while flying Roadster is the third version. 2.5 Aeromobil prototype made its first flight last year.

An American company is also set to start selling the flying car immediately. The Massachusetts-based Terrafugia will be selling cars Transition Model to the public in 2015 for $ 300,000. Cars will be able to fly 500 miles.

You can not fly a car with a state license issued regularly. Terrafugia says the owner must have a pilot's license and pass an exam to be able to fly the car.

Terrafugia models require a runway for takeoff, but the model TF-X is more like a helicopter, and can take off in a vertical position. But the model TF-X will not be available to the public for a while.
