Mercedes-Benz F 015, The Future Concept Car

Mercedes-Benz debuted the newest F 015 Luxury in Motion at the world's largest information technology, the Consumer Electronic Show (CES) in Las Vegas, Tuesday (06/01/2015). F 015 Luxury in Motion car is prepared to fill the premium segment with the advantages of automated technology in 2030.

From the whole concept of the Mercedes-Benz Concept labeled F, this product is a lesson for future models. German manufacturer said "the car starts to change from the transportation function into a private space."

Unique Design

The F 015 Luxury in Motion looks like the car of the future with futuristic curves. Grille design that dominates throughout the front of the vehicle with LED lights shades of blue on both sides. Similar flame out of both sides of the bumper and the Mercedes-Benz star logo in the center of the grille.

Interestingly, the LEDs on the front of the vehicle also serves to communicate with other road users. When the autonomous system working, LED will emit light blue shades. Whereas if again driven by someone (manually), then the light will change color to white. Taillights can create a word of warning to the driver in the back, such as "Slow" or "Stop".

Dimension is somewhat unusual concept like cars in general, with a length of 5.220 meters, a width of 2,018 meters, 1,524 meters high, and axle 3.610 meters. The second axis of the wheel deliberately extended in order to create enough free space for the passengers in the cabin.

Swivel Seat

One of the other advantages are underlined Mercedes-Benz on this concept is unique cabin design. This car is equipped with four luxurious lounge style seats that can rotate, so that between the driver and passenger can talk to each other face to face with each other. This seat can be used for driving, relax, or even a brief meeting with a limited number.

When the door is opened, the seat can be shifted 30 degrees to the outside so that it feels more spacious for the entry-exit. Neck steering wheel is also flexible, can extend ourselves to the range of the driver when going to control the car in manual mode.

The driver also served six integrated in the dashboard screen that displays a variety of information. This screen is also connected to the instrument panel on the side and rear of the cabin. Premium F 015 concept car was created to offer a roomy cabin and a comfortable lounge equipped with the latest connection technology. This car allows the driver or passenger is connected to another vehicle, the internet, and the outside world.
